Let’s delve a little deeper into how you can become part of the Apricot Lane brand family and have some fun in the fast-fashion industry.

Give Us a Call

Your rewarding career as an Apricot Lane Boutique owner begins with a friendly and informal phone call. During this chat, you’ll speak to our Franchise Development Ambassador, and as we get to know each other, we’ll review the initial Apricot Lane investment, general store operations, and support resources available, among other topics that have to do with how to start your own retail clothing store. This will also be a good time for you to ask any questions you might have (and you’re sure to have them), and we’ll ask a few of you, too. We’ll want to make sure we’re a good fit for each other before moving forward. Shortly after this call, you’ll start to receive some informative emails that will review and reinforce our initial discussion, and that talk more about training, location, store features, and more.

Fill Out a Few Forms

After this initial phone call, we’ll ask you to complete and return our Request for Consideration financial application that you’ll find at the bottom of each of our informative emails. We’ll need to confirm that you have the resources to open one of our boutiques. After that, you’ll get to speak with our founder, Ken Petersen, who’ll share his vision for our brand and his expert philosophy about franchising. You’ll have the chance to ask him questions, too, because just like all of us at Apricot Lane, Ken wants to make sure you understand how to start your own retail clothing store with us.

We’ll Visit Your Market

The next step is for us to come out to meet you, in your market, at our own expense. We do this because we believe a good fit is everything between franchisor and franchisee, and spending time with you, on your own turf, is important. Our real estate expert, president of retail, or perhaps even Ken himself, will meet with you to research location options and schedule appointments with leasing agents. We do everything we can to set you up for success, and your boutique’s location is a very important consideration, as we help you make the most of your market and demographics

Once we’ve learned everything about you and your market, we’ll meet internally with our team to review this information — and if we believe the fit is right, we’ll award you your franchise. Welcome to the Apricot Lane family! Now you’ll spend 120 days training with us for ownership, and will begin to curate your beautiful new store, as you preparing to live your life as a business owner. Congratulations!
