Apricot Lane Boutiques are all locally owned and operated. It’s a franchise that empowers, trains and equips women to own their own businesses and to elevate women in the communities they serve.
I want to build a boutique that offers women of all sizes, shapes and shades a sense of strength. Every time my customers wear their ALB outfit, I want them to feel fabulous and empowered to go after their dreams and look great doing it!
A little about me…
I’m originally a Florida girl (went to Florida State – Go Noles!) but moved to Baltimore in 2002 for a marketing job at Black & Decker where I met my husband. I’ve since worked in many marketing and sales positions selling everything from power drills to wrenches. Although it’s been an amazing career that I Ioved and prospered at, after 22 years “working for the man” (quite literally), the concept of “breaking the glass ceiling” proved harder and harder. It left me questioning, “If I work this hard, why not do it for myself?”
I always had the desire to be in control of my own fate and own my own business, but it just never felt within reach. Thanks to some recent soul searching and to the unending support of my husband, Tom and daughter Ava and many friends and family encouraging me, my dream is now a reality!
